At 412Media every project is a new and unique experience. This is the reason we are able to create the freshest and most innovative products on the Web today. Listed below is an outline of the 12-step process we use to deliver digital content that is of the highest quality and performance.
Consultation
First we listen. There is no charge for your initial consultation. 412Media will sit down with you and your team to make a few determinations. During this conversation we will identify your specific needs and goals. We will identify your target audience, clarify the message that you want to convey and help you decide on the best vehicle to deliver that message. (i.e.; Web Site, Blog, Message Board etc)
Proposal
Once the initial consultation is complete 412Media will prepare a full proposal that will include your projects timeline, a mind map of your site and of course the cost of the project.
The Look & Feel
Every project created by 412Media is unique and original. We do not use templates or canned scripts. However over the years we have found that a picture really is worth a thousand words. 412Media has created in DVD & CD format a collage of nearly 150 web styles or wireframes. Our clients have found that these examples help them decide exactly how they want their site to look. Once you’ve looked over the disks we’ll have a much better understanding of what you are looking for and so will you!
Wireframe
With the information you share with us from the Look & Feel disks 412Media will create your own unique wireframe; the shell that will hold your digital content. Once you approve the final version we’ll proceed to the next phase; The Story Board.
The Story Board
Your 412Media design team will lay out your entire site on paper; the home page, the navigation and the graphics. You’ll meet with our Project Manager (in person or via web, phone etc) to be sure that your vision is coming to life exactly as you had imagined. We’ll address any questions, concerns or changes that need to be made.
Data Collection
During the data collection phase 412Media will gather all materials needed from you and your company. This will include logos, images, sound & video files as well as text. Your 412 Project Manager will help you compile the required assets.
Construction
At this stage, with your final approval, 412Media will begin the actual construction of your web site. The length of time to completion of course depends on the size of your project. Average deliver time is 2-4 weeks.
Double & Triple Check
Once your site is built we’ll ask you to view it on one of our test servers. Here you will be able to experience your site live on the web. The site will not be available to the public. During this phase you may find things that you’d like to add or delete. 412Media will make the adjustments per your request.
Testing
When your project is completed 412Media will conduct comprehensive usability testing. All code is validated, cross-browser compatibility is checked, download times are marked. This fine-tuning ensures that your site is fully optimized and performing at peak levels.
Delivery
Your site is tested and ready to launch. If you’ve decided to entrust 412Media with the hosting responsibilities of your site, you’ve made the right choice. 412Media will launch your site from some of the most secure dedicated servers in the industry. If you’ve decided on a different hosting service we will deliver your site and all related files on CD or DVD. All your original files and documents will be returned at this time.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
Built into your web site will be the latest standards of SEO available but it takes more than just code & content to get your site listed. 412Media will submit your site by hand to the leading search engines on the Web. For 412 hosting clients this will be an ongoing service that we provide.
Follow-Up
Just because your site is live on the Web does not mean you’re on your own. 412Media will monitor your site for a full 45 days. During this time we will make sure that your site is just as efficient during real world usage as it was during testing. 412Media offers extended customized maintenance services as well. Hosting clients will enjoy this service as an ongoing benefit of hosting with 412Media.
